Hands Only CPR

Can I save a life using only my hands? YES you can!!

Hands-Only CPR has shown to be just as effective in the first few minutes as conventional CPR.

Hands-Only CPR can be performed in just two easy steps!

First-call 911 if you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse

Then- PUSH HARD, PUSH FAST!

In the center of the chest push hard and fast to the beat of a familiar or easy to remember song to maintain 100 to 120 beats per minute. Common songs that help keep the pace to reach desired heart rate include examples such as "Stayin Alive" by the BEE Gees, "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen and "crazy in Love" by Beyonc'e just to name a few.

The dispatcher on the other line can assist you while getting the emergency help you need on the way.
